At NuWave Sensor Technology Ltd (“NuWave,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”), your privacy is very important to us and we take protecting it very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you on our websites, including www.nuwavesensors.com and www.cairsensors.com, https://gateway.nuwavesensordata.com/, our mobile applications, APIs, and associated services. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Use.
Information you provide us
When you create an account:
We may collect your name, mailing or physical address, phone number, email address, password, profile photo, job title, and personalised settings stored in your account.
When you make a purchase or request a quote
We collect the information needed to facilitate a purchase or quote request, including contact, billing, shipping, and order details. Payment information is provided to third-party payment processors and is not stored by NuWave.
When or if you contact us
If you contact us in person, by phone, email, social media, or by another method, we may keep a record of your contact information and communications for later reference.
Content you provide through our websites
We collect content you submit through our websites and social channels, including feedback and participation in surveys, promotions, contests, activities, or events.
Information from third party services
If you connect with us through services such as Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, we may receive details such as your name, profile picture, age range, language, email address, and friend list, subject to the settings and policies of those services.
Information we collect from your use of our Services
Device information
We receive information from devices you connect to or use with our Services, including mobile devices, connected devices, and wired and wireless sensors. This may include environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, light level, air quality sensor data, IP address, unique device identifiers including MAC address, activity information, battery status, and Wi-Fi network information.
Location information
We receive location information from devices you connect to or use for our Services, including through device geolocation features or by inference from other information such as IP address. We use location data to provide accurate time and date related information within our Services.
Cookies and other technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, operations, analytics, marketing, advertising, and preference storage. If you disable cookies, some features of our Services may not function fully.
Web logs
Our servers automatically record information created by your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
Usage information
We receive usage data and statistics about how you interact with our Services, including access frequency, enabled features, recent login activity, and hardware identifiers of sensors connected to your account.

Some Services rely on health data that you input, such as asthma or allergy trigger logging. This data is used to provide personalised tracking and air quality management recommendations. Where required by GDPR, we request explicit consent, and you may withdraw that consent in your account settings or by deleting your account.

Choices You Have with Your Information
Account and purchase information
You can update account information through your account settings or by contacting us. Purchase information can also be updated by contacting us.
Accessing and exporting data
Once logged in, you can view service data on your dashboard and download sensor data through links sent to your account email address.
Editing and deleting data
Our Services provide account settings that let you edit profile information or delete your account. Deletion of some information in backup systems may take up to 30 days.
Objecting to data use
You can control how your data is used within Service Settings, including disabling alert notifications, limiting notification timing, revoking access to certain features, and unsubscribing from promotional emails. Administrative messages may still be sent when necessary.
Data retention
We retain account setup information while your account exists and delete certain data when it is no longer needed for the Service. When you delete your account, we delete information related to data collection from our sensors, while some business records may be retained as necessary for ongoing or repeat business purposes.
Our Children’s Policy
NuWave does not allow children under the age of 16 to set up an account or use our Services. Parents or guardians who believe a child has created an account can contact us to request deletion.
Links to Third Parties Services
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites that we do not own or control. We encourage you to review those sites’ privacy policies.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical controls to help protect your information. However, no security measure is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Users
If you access our Services from outside Ireland, you agree to the transfer and processing of your information in Ireland in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
